Fenton Cranberry Opalescent Hobnail Decanter

 



This is a rare Fenton decanter with a book value of $450.00 to $500.00.  The decanter itself is in excellent shape, but the stopper has several large chips that prevent a total seal (see picture).  These chips are not visible when the stopper is in the bottle.  We estimate this to have been made pre-1970 (one dealer said this decanter was made between 1941 and 1950).   This is really a beautiful piece!
