ADVANCED STORE SETUP We realize that many merchants want to take their store beyond what is explained in the basic store setup. There are more features to Collectors Online Mall Stores available that require some HTML / CSS experience. CSS is basically like HTML but lessens the amount of coding. TEMPLATE MANAGEMENT: You can either modify existing templates or install new ones. Please bear in mind that there are certain WSA tags present in the provided templates that have to be used in your new or modified template in order for your store to work with the mall. These are WSA TAGS that show up in brackets in WYSIWYG or in <wsa tag ???> tables in html. SHOPPING CART which will let customers see what items are in their cart. PRODUCT MENU / or CATEGORIES (the appearance of this can also be modified from Store Manager) CONTENT -- Necessary for the Mall to read your content and for it to be posted to Google, show up in the search, etc. STORE SEARCH - This is also modifiable within Store Manager. FORMS LINKS So, if you change any of these things, please make sure that you check the extension tags and keep those necessary for your site to be operational within the mall. You can also purchase already made templates from places like Template Express and then just add a few tags for them to fit in with the mall. There is free clipart available in the links for holidays, email, etc. and we'll be adding to this. PRODUCT IMPORT/EXPORT Products must be imported and exported in csv files. We submit all products in the mall to Google Base. If you feel you'd like to post your own items to Google Base or for some reason don't want your items listed there, please just send us an email with your user name. There is a froogle.php url extension that will provide you a text feed for Google Base, but you'll have to open it in a spreadsheet and insert appropriate Google-accepted headers. Then you can add columns if you like. This is also applicable for other multi-list services.
